Lambertville's Oldest Family Owned Restaurant

In 1968 Nicolo and his wife Stella opened the first of 13 restaurants, in Lambertville New Jersey. Nicola Pizzeria is Lambertville's oldest "pizza shop"! In those days the tossing and twirling of pizza dough was a spectacle to neighborhood children who would come to watch Nicolo make his soon-to-be famous pizza pies. Believe it or not, at that time anchovies were the most popular topping. Over the course of its growth Nicola Pizzeria's menu has evolved to feature homemade lasagna, fresh antipasto with Boars Head meats, delicious salads, and a huge array of satisfying sandwiches and sides.

Today Nicola Pizzeria is owned and operated by Nicolo's son Sal, who has been making pizza in Lambertville since he was old enough to stand on a crate to reach the counter in his father's shop. Maintaining the family tradition that has sustained generations; Sal is proud to work side by side with his wife Wendy, son Alex, daughter Stella, and nephew Nick, in running the family business that remains both humbled by its roots and honored to serve the wonderful community where the dream was born.
